http://listverse.com/2018/11/22/10-movies-based-on-true-events-that-dont-tell-the-truth/Now lets talk about the " Ted Bundy " story, Let me give you a little background info, Ted Bundy is a man who raped females and killed them after. There was a documentary on netflix of the story and the producers tried to cover it up and make it seem like he didn't really rape those females at all or that he did it out of self defense and that's not the truth at all. Most movies try to tell a lie to get more ratings/ try to get their ratings to go up. Most producers put up a front and don't really tell what happened and they use fake events to make more people interested in the movie and make more money. For example, the Whitney Houston Movie; Whitney says it herself that most of the information in the documentary wasn't true at all. In my opinion, movies try to spice up the real events and turn it into something that never happened at all. Movies don't tell the truth for these reasons: They want to spice up the movie, the producers want more ratings, the producers feel like the truth is boring. Others may believe that when you add more fake events to the movie, it makes the movie more interesting. Twenty years from now, hopefully movies will start to tell the truth and will stop producing false events.
